Iin the search engine world, there are 3 main engines. Those being in no particular order, Yahoo, BING/ MSN, and Google. My main choice for searching is usually ends up being Google.

Personally, I don’t like to spend a whole lot of time searching for something and rummaging through the results page and various sites. When initially doing a quick search I tend to do a quick scan on the results and see what seems to best fit what I’m looking for.

From time to time, I’ll do a search comparison with Google, Bing and Yahoo. For my searches, I tend to use the advanced features, narrowing the results with the available options, and my search phrases do tend to be more long tail. But ultimately the best and most interesting things I find is through social media (Facebook/Twitter) and the main news websites that I frequent.

I will often do a search comparison with Google and Bing, to see how quickly I’m able to find the information that I’m looking for.  All in all, I am personally liking Bing Search more and more. I have a quick link in my task bar to MSN Search, and I noticed that I’m using this more and more these days and I am find it is always good to have a choice besides Google.  Another search engine you may want to check out is Blekko (Spam Free Search).
