Yahoo! Lowers Monthly Fees for PPC
More and more I am liking Yahoo. Over the past month,
Yahoo lowered its monthly minimum spending requirement from
$20 to $5. Currently Google does not have a monthly minimum for
their Google Adwords program, its just $5 to get started. Also
now with Yahoo, you can start up a PPC campaign for just $5,
previously it was $30 for start up and then $20 per month. Now
its just $5 per month.
For most companies investing into PPC, this may not see like much
of a big deal, but for much smaller companies that are under a tight
budget, this is enough incentive for them to try out Yahoo's PPC and
get their feet wet and find out exactly what they can get back with
out too much of a commitment or a risk.
While Yahoo is taking more of a Google approach with their Pay
Per Click ads, Yahoo currently still displays their ad according to
the amount each listing is bidding, while Google rankings according
to relevancy. Still overall a good more on Yahoo's part.
