Submitting to Search Engines - Search Engine Submissions

You have a website, now you're wondering about search engine submissions. Search engines have spiders, crawlers or bots that go out and index websites, so most likely your site has been indexed already.

The search engines will find your site, as long as you don't have them blocked from indexing/crawling your site and that there are incoming links to your website (just one link is needed really). So generally you don't really need to submit your site as the search engines will crawl the web and follow links from other sites.

Even better, you can add your websites to the following webmaster tools from Google, Bing and Yahoo, you can get more detail on your site, and submit sitemaps.
